Your Devotional message for 3rd January 2023
Scripture:
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons (Psalm 16:7).
Explanation:
Many Christians have prayed and fasted in the last month of December to inquire of the Lord about His plans for 2023. This is by asking God for His counsel. Within His counsel are His Promises, guidance, direction, instruction, and enlightenment. Likewise, there are people who may underestimate the counsel of the Lord. You might have made new year resolutions, plans, strategy, the shout of happy new year and so the list may increase. Knowing truly that the true success is by the counsel of the Lord. It is very important to acknowledge God in all your ways. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect (Psalm 33:10). I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day 03 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’
The Word of God is the Wisdom of God. In the Wisdom of the Lord is His counsel:
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice. By me princes’ rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth (Proverbs 8: 14-16).
“With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding” (Job 12:13.

As we journey through the month of January 2023, I pray for you that you may be victorious no matter what come your way. I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life. Glory be to God.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
