Biblical text:

(Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him.)

(1 Samuel 3:7).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 03 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Ministry of the Word of God’ – The word revealed.

The case of Samuel showed to us that the word of God might come to someone with a lack of understanding or being revealed. Samuel was a young priest under his master in Israel. The word of the Lord came to him, and he didn’t know.

(Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him.)

(1 Samuel 3:7).

Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation (1 Samuel 3:1).

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men (John 1:1-4).

“The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth (Proverbs 8:22-23).

Further Scriptures:
Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass (Joshua 21:45).
