In today Daily Meditation, day 02 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic begin with thanksgiving.
Welcome to the new Month of December again.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on arise and shine by rendering thanksgiving to God. It is important to arise and shine in 2024 without dwelling in our current achievements. Approaching God for any purpose requires that you thank Him before asking and thanking Him that He has done it even when there is no physical evidence yet. The scriptures says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).
Jesus Christ gave us an example when He went to raise Lazarus from death:
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:40-44).
