Your Devotional message for 1st August, 2023.
Scripture:
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (Psalm 118:1).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 1 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Praise be to God.
We thank God for the grace and honour to see the first day of the month of August.In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying, “The Lord has been very angry with your fathers. Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 1:1-3).
Further scriptures:
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generation (Psalms 100:4-5).
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever (Psalms 30:12).
