Understanding spiritual exercises

Your Devotional message for 30th March 2021

Scripture
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14, NKJV).

Explanation
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come (1 Timothy 4:8, NKJVV). Such as there are numerous types of physical exercises you can do to keep your body healthy and strong, so also there are numerous spiritual exercises that are geared to help your spirit man receive food or nutrients for spiritual growth according to the scripture. The spiritual food can either be milk, honey, solid food, or strong meat. Although these are figurative. Today we shall start by only listing them. These exercises are inclusive of meditation, reading or study of the scripture, fasting, praise and worship, prayers, singing or making melodies in your heart and praying in tongues. There are various levels of operations of spiritual senses. Also do you know that as we have six physical senses, these duplicated as spiritual senses. These spiritual senses can be activated and enhanced.
Start your day with meditation, see your challenges of life resolved.

Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
During April, we shall be looking at Health and Divine Healing.

Confession
Thank you, Lord, for today. I am a child of You Father. In Your law I meditate day and night. Therefore, make me like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, my leaf also shall not wither; and whatever I do shall prosper in the name of Jesus. I am in good health as my soul prosper every day of my life. Glory be to God.
