And God met Balaam, and he said to Him, “I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram (Numbers 23:4).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 27 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – Destroy altar of infirmity.
Altars are spiritual platform of exchange. The Cross of Calvary is the greatest altar of God that is supreme over any other form of altars as the blood of Jesus Christ was shed for our sacrifice. As there is altar of God, so also there is evil altar where enemy of righteousness carries out evil and wickedness. One of those evil works is curse.
This is an example of scenario when Balak the king of Moab hired Balaam, the prophet.
And God met Balaam, and he said to Him, “I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram (Numbers 23:4).
And he took up his oracle and said: “Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram,
From the mountains of the east. ‘Come, curse Jacob for me, And come, denounce Israel!’ “How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced? (Numbers 23:7-8).
But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire (Deuteronomy 7:5)

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? (Isaiah 58:6).
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. (Isaiah 10:28).
