“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord”(Luke 4:18-19).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 14 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – The problem of broken spirit.
The nature of man as a tripartite man has been poorly acceptable among elites, however the reality of this is however unquestionable. For instance, a broken spirit is perhaps worse than the physical body illness. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God have the ability to reach any of these inner core of man and heal the brokenness. Job lamented and said: “My spirit is broken, My days are extinguished, The grave is ready for me (Job 17:1).

A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones (Proverbs 17:22).
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2).
Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back (Isaiah 38:17).
