For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:28).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 10 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – The blood of Jesus.
Jesus Christ did not only came because of the need of our salvation from sinful nature of man but he came and took all our infirmities and diseases.
The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the new covenant. The blood was shed not only for remission of sins but we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb. The blood of Jesus has the power to consecrate and remove sickness and diseases.
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:28).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-16).
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them (Matthew 4:24).
When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them (Luke 4:40).
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”(Luke 4:18-19).
