Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 07 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – Jesus healed them all.
Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry healed them all in certain moments. He is God still healing people today. Glory be to God. Jesus Christ did not only came because of the need of our salvation from sinful nature of man but he came and took all our infirmities and diseases. The nature of falling man from sin of Adams is known and the susceptibility of man to mortality as sequential of Adamic disobedience.
But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all (Matthew 12:15).
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them (Matthew 4:24).
When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them (Luke 4:40).
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103: 1-5).
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”(Luke 4:18-19).
