Biblical text:

And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people (Exodus 11:3).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 19 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of mercy and favour’ – favour for greatness.

It is very interesting that while there is physical element of achieving success, but the favour of the Lord is supreme. God can give any man the key or favour for greatness.

After the children of Israel cried out for deliverance from slavery of their task masters, the Lord appeared to Moses and empower him to deliver to deliver them.

And the Lord had given the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus, they plundered the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36).

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come (Psalm 102:13).

But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation (Psalm 69:13).
