Daily Meditation, day 17 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of mercy and favour’ – Being in favour with God and man.
The God, Almighty is the God of mercy. A man who has favour with God, God will lavish His favour on him or her. Favour is being offered when you are not entitled to a thing. When mercy and favours meet can give you a significant advantage in life. May the Lord show you mercy and favour in this year. Jesus Christ was an Example Who received favour from God and man.
Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men (Luke 2: 51-52).
You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come (Psalm 102:13).
You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation (Exodus 15:13).
But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation (Psalm 69:13).
