Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 01 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of mercy and favour’ – Praise the Lord.

We need to celebrate the goodness and the faithfulness of God for a new year. Many people would have love to be alive to see today but they are no more. We are thankful O Lord that God has been merciful to us. As we celebrate the new year, the Lord shall favour you and His mercy shall defend and meet your need. Let us meditate on His goodness, mercy and blessing throughout 2024 and in the year 2025.

“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11).
I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people (Psalm 35:18).
I like what Prophet Nehemiah wrote saying:
And the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said: “Stand up and bless the Lord your God Forever and ever! “Blessed be Your glorious name, Which is exalted above all blessing and praise! (Nehemiah 9:5).
