That each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour (1 Thessalonians 4:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blood of Jesus Christ’ – Sanctification.
Sanctification means to wash, cleanse, consecrate or set it aside for a special purpose. Sanctification is an essential transformation to make one fit for a holy purpose before God.
The blood of Jesus Christ gives us the sanctification that could not be attained through any other blood. Glory be to God.
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4).
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil (Hebrews 2:14).
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21).
But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God’s blessing that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
