Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 15 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blood of Jesus Christ’ – Entry the most Holy Place.
In the old Testament, only the priest can enter the Holy of the Holy. The blood of Jesus Christ gives us the entry to the most Holy Spirit without any further sacrifice.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:19-22).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil (Hebrews 2:14).
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21).
