Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – Be fruitful
In the scripture, we learned that Adam was initially blessed as a creature of God. Fruitfulness was the first elements of the blessing upon man. Fruitfulness is the ability to reproduce its kind. ‘For I will look on you favourably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you (Leviticus 26:9).
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
Spiritual blessing was lost in the Garden of Eden as Adam fell into sins and necessitate the need for redemption from curses.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
