And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you (Deuteronomy 28:11)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – Material possession.
There are many recorded patriarchs in the Bible who were extraordinarily blessed to the point that their material possessions were indescribable. The list would include Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon, Hezekiah and Job. It makes one to ponder in awe the power of the blessing of the Lord. The blessing upon a man can provoke the financial ability to the point of his capacity to lend to many nations.
And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow (Deuteronomy 28:11-12).
As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labour—this is the gift of God (Ecclesiastes 5:19).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
