Scripture:
His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden (Habakkuk 3:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of 31 days of the month of July we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The light of God’ – An encounter with light.
God is Light and He is a Spirit and does not exist in human flesh. The encounter with Spirit of God and His Angel can be an encounter as like light. This has been an experience of many as in the Bible. As a son of God expect to receive an encounter with the Reality.
His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden (Habakkuk 3:4).
Moses in the burning bush:
And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed (Exodus 3:2)
Example of Daniel’s encounter:
I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in colour, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude (Daniel 10:5-10).
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Glory be to God.
May you receive an encounter with the light of God that brings forth transformation and restoration to issues caused by darkness in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
