Your Devotional message for 21st May 2021
Scripture:
Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law (Proverbs 29:18).
Explanation:
Today we will look at Purpose and prosperity. When you read the Autobiography of Albert Einstein, a German-born Jewish theoretical physicist who became one of the greatest renown scientists of last century, you would try and understand the purpose by which you were created. Late Dr. Myles Munroe once said that the wealthiest place on earth is a Graveyard. Why so? This is a place where you find many men who lived on earth and did not realize their gifting, vision or purpose. What about those whose lives are cut short because they were victims of evil? Or lacks the Power of vision or revelation.
You must understand the purpose of your life through vision or revelation:
You are not here on earth by chance. God allowed you to be born from the foundation of this world. Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law (Proverbs 29:18). It is possible to be doing or working in a wrong field or not knowing your gifting without revelations.
Ask God to provide you with vision and revelation:
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3). God will show you your reason for being. You must find out. In many cases, knowing can be by vision or revelation and rarely accident.
Then God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, “Jacob, Jacob!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Genesis 46:2). If you struggle to know, inquire of the Lord, or seek to speak to your Prophet: Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream (Numbers 12:6). Often time, God speak to me through visions. However, The Gift of revelation – Prophecy through prophetic revelations of the Holy Spirit is another powerful insight to understand your purpose in life. It is by the grace of God. Do not be carnally minded thinking that Life is just physical. Life is spiritual first.
Write the vision down:
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it (Habakkuk 2:2).
Why were you born? Moses was an example of great men. While “tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God and the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So, he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed” (Exodus 3:1-2). During the revelation God said: “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt” Exodus 3:10). He became the Prophet of God who would lead the children of Israel out of the affliction of Egypt to the promised land.
Prosperity in Life through vision and purpose:
David was very close to God. Do you realize that He has Nathan the Prophet? But it happened that night that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?(2 Samuel 7:4).
To receive prosperity in life, you must have access to revelation, receive vision, and take your purpose serious as that is a measure of your prosperity and success.
You must speak your vision and proclaim the Word of God concerning it. Are you meant to be a Businessman, you must speak that enterprise idea in you or business into existence? As an entrepreneur, begin to see changes in your business and see your finances increasing in respective of the odd. You must Key to these fundamental principles, study, and meditate upon the Word of God.

Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit man, soul, and body. I obey and serve my God of Heaven, I shall spend my days in prosperity, and my years in pleasures (Job 36:11, NKJV). Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; I prosper in my health even as my soul prospers in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. I reject sickness and diseases. I bind Spirit of infirmity. I declare that no devil is permitted to attack my body as the Word of God gives me Divine health and healing. From today I declare my victory and protection through the Blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
