Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him
(1 Samuel 3:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 04 of 31 days of the month of March we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord, the Revealer of the secrets’. – The word of the Lord
One of the mysteries in the World remains the Word of the Lord or the Word of His prophecy in the Bible being fulfilled even after thousands of years. When God was calling Prophet Samuel in his early year as he ministered to the Lord before Eli there was no revelation until God called him by the Word of the Lord. Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation (1 Samuel 3:1). Now, Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him (1 Samuel 3:7). Revelation is crucial in our walk with the Lord our God.
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29).
