Scripture:
Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire (Deuteronomy 4:36).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Arise and shine’.
We discussed previously the importance of the anointing of the Holy Ghost that can turn an ordinary man to a supernatural man. In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on ‘Arise and shine’ – Let Fire come down. Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire (Deuteronomy 4:36).
The Fire of God is crucial as a spiritual weapon to destroy all the works of the wicked. That is why John made it clearer that you shall be baptised with Holy Spirit and Fire.
Elijah was a Prophet of God that operated with Fire to the point that our God is address as the God of Elijah till this day. Elijah called fire to come down against the prophets of Baal.
So, Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty (2 Kings 1:12).
Our God is a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29).
May you receive the power and the favour of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.

The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).
I pray with you today, may you experience the glory of God that brings supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
