Scripture:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 14 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Lords’’ – Be strong in the Lord.
In the times of weakness, discouragement or temptation, there is no doubt that even as a Christian such evil time will want to surface in your life. This is because there are evil days. One thing is certain, that is the instruction of the Lord to be prepared and be strong in the Lord. The scripture says, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16). This is your responsibility to understand.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13).
He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength (Isaiah 40:29).
May you receive the power and the strength of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
