“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 29 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Revealed Mystery of God’’ – He knows who has a wicked heart.
We serve the Almighty God Who knows all things about people and their generation both the righteous and the wicked. Who can know the heart of a wicked or his plans or devices for planning an evil thing except by the Spirit of God? Why do we need to know this? The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward (Proverbs 11:18). From the wicked their light is withheld, and the upraised arm is broken (Job 38:15).
It is only God who can reveal the heart of a man. Have you not heard men saying appearance shows the manner? This may be far from the Truth with God. You can desperately mislead by appearance alone.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9).
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked (Proverbs 10:3).
I pray that you will be a delight in the name of Jesus. May all the power of darkness working against you be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ and His breakthrough shall locate you in the name of Jesus Christ.
