Your Devotional message for 30th July, 2023.
Scripture:
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me (Psalm 50:15).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 29 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord, My Divine Helper’-Deliverance
One of the ways the Lord help us is to deliver us from all evil works. Deliverance is the acts of God to ensure that no evil is allow in your life.
The scriptures say:Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me (Psalm 50:15).Even to your old age, I am He, and even to grey hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you (Isaiah 46:4).
There are scriptures that support that Godas Our Helperprotect the righteous.
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:10-11).“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honourhim (Psalm 91:14 – 15).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, may the Lord arise and be your Helper and may He deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.
