Your Devotional message for 26th May, 2023
Scripture:
Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word (Psalm 119:154).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 26 of the 31 days of the month of May, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Word of God’ – Revive me, O Lord.
One of the commonest themes regarding the desire of many Christians today is the quest and prayers to the Lord to bring Revival to our nations. This is not the first time to see individual or the nation of Israel biblically made a request unto God for a revival.
The Psalmist wrote: Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? (Psalm 85:6). Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself. Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name (Psalm 80:17-18).
What is a revival? It simply means restore to life or give new strength or energy.
The Word of God teaches us not only the revival of a person but the redemption of the entire nation under the cripple effect of disengagement with His maker for restoration.
I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word (Psalm 119:107).
Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word (Psalm 119:154).
O Lord manifest your great wonders through mighty power in me today that will change my situation for good.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me (Psalm 138:7).
As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, in judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress (Job 37:23).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
