Your Devotional message for 23rd March, 2023.
Scripture:
“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he yearns” (Psalm 12:5).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of the 31 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The works of God’ – The deliverance from oppression.
It is possible nowadays to be ignorant of being under the oppression of the evil spirit. This is because spiritual oppression can behave as natural or perceive as illness. It can only be discerned by the Spirit of God. There is a need to seek diligently the Face of the Lord for deliverance in the presence of oppression. Devil likes you to be ignorant of your access to the redemptive power in the name or blood of Jesus.
The Children of Israel were under oppression. And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows (Exodus 3:7). “Because of the multitude of oppressions, they cry out; They cry out for help because of the arm of the mighty (Job 35:9).
The Psalmist wrote “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he yearns” (Psalm 12:5).
I pray for you today that Jesus Christ shall deliver you all from oppression and God’s works and Acts will be evident in you and through you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray for you today may you be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire so that you will experience His wondrous works over your life, His mercy, blessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
