Your Devotional message for 4th March, 2023.
Scripture:
And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt (Exodus 9:23).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 04 of the 31 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The works of God’ – The Fire of God.
For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). The Holy Spirit and Fire are not separable Spiritual person. The Fire of God is not a New Testament experience as in the day of Pentecost, (Act 2:1-4) but His Presence cuts across from Old Testament era to date.
Jesus Christ said that “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:19).
Fire was used during the Judgement upon Sodom and Gomorrah:
Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens (Genesis 19:24).
Fire was in operation during the deliverance of the Jews from the hand of the Egyptians:
The Lord sent the 7th plague as thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt (Exodus 9:23).
We have seen these works of Christ in His deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works, and Acts. Even till today, no one can explain the process of God’s works.

It is very important to know the Holy Spirit and His Fire:
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:12).
I pray for you today may you be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire so that you will experience His wondrous works over your life, His mercy, blessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
