Your Devotional message for 2nd February 2023
Scripture:
Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name) (Jeremiah 31:35).
Explanation:
Welcomeagain to the new month of February. I am excited that you will join us again in this Month to meditate together on the Words of God. The same God of Heavens is the Lord of Hosts (Jehovah Sabaoth). The totality of His powers has been vested upon Jesus Christ.He is in charge of the hosts of Heavens.
Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name) (Jeremiah 31:35).
We thank God for the glory of the Lord,we thank God that the Holy Spirit willlead us through out the entire year with remarkable victory and success in the name of Jesus Christ.
In today Daily Meditation, day 2of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The Lord of Hosts’.
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, “Will you not receive instruction to obey My words?” says the Lord (Jeremiah 35:13).
“Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the doom that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard, and I have called to them but they have not answered.” (Jeremiah 35:17).

Therefore, say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 1:3).
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine. This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
