Your Devotional message for 28th November 2022
Scripture:
Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him (Mark 1:34).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 28 of the 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Encounter with the Spirit’.
Today we will continue our daily meditation (DM) on encounter with the Spirit of the Lord. Most importantly meditating on the Mighty works of the Lord Jesus Christ in casting out demons. In the New Testament, in the gospels demons are also referred as evil spirits and are linked to many afflictions, bondages and infirmity. During the Ministry of Jesus Christ, they also unify the figures of Satan, the devil, and Beelzebub. Luke refers to Satan “falling from heaven,” while Matthew mentions “the devil and his angels.”
Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him (Mark 1:34). Jesus Christ and His disciples cast out many demons during His Ministry.
Jesus healed a man who was demonised:
Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him (Mark 1:23-25).
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:17-18).
Here are further scriptures:
And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ (Luke 4:41).

I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month I shall have an encounter with the Spirit of Lord that will catapult me into my ordained destiny. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
