Your Devotional message for 12th November 2022
Scripture:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 12of the 30 days of the month ofNovember, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The Encounter with the Spirit’.
Today we will continue our daily meditation (DM) on the Spirit of fear. The Spirit of the fear of the Lord makes manifest Himself in us by giving us the fear for the Lord that we ought to have. Unlike the demonic fear that is tormenting to people, the “fear of the Lord,” means having a deep respect, reverence and awe for God’s power and authority. The Spirit of the fear of the Lord is one of the 7 Spirits of God. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10). Whenever, God performs His strange Act or work, it is not unusual that the fear of God will humble you to give reverence to God and glorified His Holy name.
When Jesus raised the son of the widow of Nain as He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” The young boy sat up and began to speak (Luke 7:14-15).Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and “God has visited His people” (Luke 7:16).

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death (Proverbs 14:27).
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility (Proverbs 15:33).
In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; and by the fear of the Lord, one departs from evil (Proverbs 16:6).
My prayer to you is thatthe Lord God will do great wonders in your life today that will make your enemies tremble in Jesus’ name. Amen

This month I shall have an encounter with the Spirit of Lord that will catapult me into my ordained destiny.I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
