Your Devotional message for 25th August 2022
Scripture:
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest (Exodus 33:14).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The exceedingly great promise of God’ – Rest.
Today we will meditate upon another exceedingly great promise of God to His people saying He willgive them to you from your enemies. God in His omnipotent power can silence any enemy of your life and to give you peace. Jesus Christ said that “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Example of Israel from all the land:
The Lord gave then rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand (Joshua 21:44).
So, Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years (Judges 3:30).
Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you (Psalm 116:7).

Therefore it shall be, when the Lord your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget (Deuteronomy 25:19.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass (Psalm 37:7).

Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
