Your Devotional message for 29th July 2022
Scripture:
But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him (2 Kings 3:15).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 29 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ -Anointing for music.
It is very interesting to learn that Anointing of God is for every area of your life. God’s Anointing can touch your spirit, soul, and body. In the last 29 days you would realise that Anointing of God goes far beyond healings for sick and diseases and deliverance from evils alone. There is Anointing for music. The role of music for health and soundness has been proven scientifically, though this was written in the scriptures before science proved it. Many of God popular music tracks are downloaded from Heaven and given by God.

And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand, as at other times; but there was a spear in Saul’s hand. And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice (1 Samuel 18:10-11).
Now the distressing spirit from the Lord came upon Saul as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand. And David was playing music with his hand (1 Samuel 19:9).
Example of Jehoshaphat:
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:
“Praise the Lord,
For His mercy endures forever.”(2 Chronicles 20:20-21).
Further scriptures on the Anointing for deliverance:
He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine linen, and of the weaver—those who do every work and those who design artistic works (Exodus 35:35).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life.I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
