Your Devotional message for 21st May 2022
Scripture:
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” (Mark 9:25).
Explanation:
One of the major lessons from the Ministry of Jesus Christ is the link of the causes of certain infirmity with specific demonic spirit. Jesus Christ thought how to exercise Power and Authority over demonic spirits as he cast out those spirits with His words. Example of those scenarios was in the Gospel: When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” (Mark 9:25).
My prayer to you as you read this edition of Daily Meditation is that His healing anointing will flow through you and set your life free in the name of Jesus.
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of the 31 days of the month of May, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘God is The Healer’ -Casting out demonic spirits.
Here are the scriptures on casting out demonic spirits:
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:16-18).
Jesus Christ gave Power to His disciples over unclean spirits:
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
Casting out demons is by the Spirit of God:
But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you (Matthew 12:28).
Jesus Christ gave instruction to His disciples to cast out demons:
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8).
There is embedded authority in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth:
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:17-18).
Prayer and fasting are indispensable. Without His Power, you might see less manifestation and pray for the Power and Glory of God.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. My life prospers, continued prospering, and I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thanks be to God for the power and authority over serpents, scorpions and all powers of the enemies.
2. O Lord I pray; I rebuke every spirit of infirmity released against me and I cast them out by Fire of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
3. I bind and loose anything that My Father has not planted in me and command it to be uprooted in the name of Jesus. 4. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
