Day 24 of  30 days: ‘The Blood of Jesus Christ’– Healings through the Blood of Christ

Your Devotional message for 24th April 2022

Scripture:

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Explanation:

We discussed in the previous topics that the blood of Jesus Christ is much important when it comes to our redemption, justification, purification, consecration, and salvation of souls. It was impossible for a new covenant and Eternal redemption without the blood of Jesus.

In today Daily Meditation, day 24 of the 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series the ‘The Blood of Jesus Christ’ –  Healing through the Blood of Christ.

We will now  examine a few points.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Passover – Protection from demonic plagues:

Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:13).

Now as Holy Communion

Healing and forgiveness are associated:

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7). Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24).

Redemption from the curse of the law:

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14).

No condemnation for those who are in Christ:

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2).

Without redemption from sins, walking in the Spirit of God will be  anutopia:

And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness (Romans 8:10).

The power of resurrection gives Life and vitality:

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11).

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?

Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Our Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ of everlasting covenant. Thanks be to God for  my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Power of the Holy Spirit. I am more than a conqueror  every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be  with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I have the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. My life is prospering, flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Prayer Points:
1. Thanks be to God for the healings through the blood of Christ.

2. O Lord I pray; I destroy diseases of Egypt in my body

3. I  call upon the Lion of Judah, Arise Lord of Hosts, and fight against every  demonic spirit of infirmity that is released against my flesh in the name of Jesus. 4. We pray for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine threatened by war right now.
