The blessing of the Lord
The blessing of the Lord

Your Devotional message for 22nd Feb 2021

Scriptures:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3).

Explanation:

Most physical things in life have its spiritual root. What does it mean to be poor in spirit? Being poor in any aspect of life in spirit is bad. It could be lacking sufficient quality of life from poor health, family, financial, marital, and strength.

In today Daily Meditation, day 22 of 28  days, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the ‘The Kingdom of God’-The blessing of the Lord.

At creation, God created man in His own image. “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28, NKJV). God gave Adam the five dimensions of blessing inclusive of divine Power to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and to have dominion. Unfortunately, Adam lost these five folds  blessing due to his fall into sin by the Devil. The blessing upon Adam was replaced with curses, so that Adam and his wife began to languish in toiling.

The scripture says that “the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22, NKJV).However, God had to make plan for salvation by re-establishing His covenant with Abraham. God called Abraham and blessed Him and His generation. “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3). This blessing manifested upon Abraham and His generation – Isaac and Jacob.

God desires in your prosperity and to experience the higher manifestations of life in Christ Jesus, for greater works, healings, deliverance, signs and wonder supernaturally you need to the Word of God.

Through Christ Jesus we have received Redemption by the blood of Christ within the Kingdom of God. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV).

The new covenant gives every believer who was previously a gentile by faith to access  the blessing of the Lord. No wonder Paul walked in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. “But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ” (Romans 15:29, NKJV).

You can receive the Abrahamic blessing in as much as you are in Christ and God has provided access by Faith in His Word.

You must Key to these fundamental principles, study, and meditate upon the Word of God.

Thanks be to God for His fullness of His Power in your life.

Faith Confession of the Month:

Our Father, thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Power of the Holy Spirit. I am more than a conqueror  every day of my life.

Thy Kingdom come and Your will be done in my life as it is in Heaven. I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be  with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. My life is prospering, flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
