Scripture:
And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him (Luke 2:40).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the Keys for success in 2022’-The Abundance of grace.
Grace is that spontaneous, unmerited gift of the divine favour of God given to a person, and the divine ability operating in individuals for a purpose of God. Jesus Christ though in spiritual sense is God, received the grace of God. And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him (Luke 2:40).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the importance of abundance:
You need the grace of God to succeed in life: Those areas of life may include success, prosperity, marriage, riches, and peace. The scripture says: For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
Abundance for every good work: The grace enables you to do good work.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
Grace to become rich: It allows you through His poverty might become rich
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Grace was given according to the measure of gift:
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore, He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men” (Ephesians 4:7-8).Of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power Ephesians 3:7).
The purpose of the gifts is for the edification of the church:
Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel (1 Corinthians 13:2).
Finally, you must grow in the grace by the Word of God:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confessJesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
Glory be to God!
In the Month of January, stay connected as we meditate on ‘Keys for success in 2022’
Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord thank you for your grace and favour
2. Oh Lord, grant me abundance of grace and gift of righteousness 3.I shall not struggle to succeed and whatever I lay my hand to do must prosper.
