Your Devotional message for 5th Jan 2021
Scripture:
The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty (Proverbs 21:5).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 5 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating to the new series called Keys for success in 2022’-The strategic planning.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty (Proverbs 21:5).
Many believers think that as long as they have faith that is it with regards to success in life. This knowledge is devoid of the understanding of the strategic planning to manage time and resources. We will discuss faith in the next days. Faith demands that you have plans for your life according to your vision and gifts in you. As we begin the new year, it is a chance to redefine your purpose and priorities. In the new year, ensure you set your goals, strategically plan how your vision will be carried our and must be documented. You must ensure to work out the plans and pray over those plans. This is because you must know that: There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand (Proverbs 19:21).
It is evident that the whole concept of strategic planning originated in the scripture by God for instance at creation (Genesis 1). God spoke to Moses about strategic planning of the Tabernacle of meeting saying “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you (Exodus 31:6).
Jesus thought His disciples the importance of planning. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him (Luke 14:28-29). I pray that your plans may receive Heavenly support and treasures in the name of Jesus.
Further scriptures:
A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9).
Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counsellors they are established (Proverbs 15:22).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
Glory be to God!

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victories every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thank You Father that you have plans for my life to be a blessing to my generation.
2. I commit my plans unto theLord, and He will direct my path in the name of Jesus.
3. I lay the Ax to the root of the trees and Holy Spirit cut away any tree that does not bear fruits in my life this year.
