Your Devotional message for 29th September 2021
Scripture: Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my pray (Psalm 4:1).
Explanation:
Thank God that we are alive to see another day and we shall rejoice in Him. Today, day 29of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will meditate on Favour of God in the time of distress. The purpose of this seriesis ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. In fact, any serious negative situation requires that one cry for repentance, and to seek for Favour and mercy to abound in prayers. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my pray (Psalm 4:1).
The scripture says,“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, yes, the set time, has come” (Psalm 102:13).
Here are a few other examples of other scriptures expounding on the favour of God in the time of distress.
In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry entered His ears (2 Samuel 22:7).
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses (Psalm 107:6,13,19,28).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
