Your Devotional Message for 17th September 2021

Scripture:
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22).
Explanation:
Today, day 17 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will contemplate on the Favour for marriage. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. This is a matter of God’s divine favour to get married, to stay in marriage and finish well maritally. He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22). For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favoured them (Psalm 44:3).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the favour.
God’s favour can cause you to receive a good wife:
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22).
No barrenness, but fruitfulness in marriage:
No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfil the number of your days (Exodus 23:26).
‘For I will look on you favourably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you’ (Leviticus 26:9).
Favour against divorce: It is encouraged to stay in marriage if it is possible. Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband (1 Corinthians 7:10).
Finishing well in marriage: Jehoshaphat by marriage allied with a terrible king and cost him negatively: Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance; and by marriage he allied himself with Ahab (2 Chronicles 18:1).

Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of September 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The favour of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
