Your Devotional Message for 12th September 2021
Scripture:
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).
Explanation:
Today, day 12 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will contemplate on the Wisdom of God to receive His Divine favour. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. It is an amazing thing that whenever the favour of God is received, it can be preceded by the Wisdom of God. The Wisdom of God is encapsulated within His Word and Instruction. Glory be to God.
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). It is written that Jesus Christ increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men (Luke 2:52).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the favour.
The Wisdom of God and favour were evident in the greatness of Joseph while he was in Egypt: Joseph had a dream and told his brethren. So, he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed, your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”(Genesis 37:6-7). He received the Wisdom of God in several ways and the favour of God was upon him likewise.
But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21). Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams and provided the King’s with the Wisdom of God that He acknowledged him a man with the Spirit of God. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt”(Genesis 41:41)
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Hearings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
