Your Devotional Message for 5th September 2021
Scripture:
Then Moses pleaded with ]the Lord his God, and said: “Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? (Exodus 32:11).
Explanation:
Today, day 5 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will explore that it is important to seek the favor of God. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favor. The favor of God is a driver to a successful living. We must obtain favor in the sight of God by faith and ask God to make you to find favor in the sight of man. Do you know that Jesus Christ was not an exception to receiving favor from God and men. So how then do you find favor from the Lord?
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on seeking the favor of God:
Jacob sought favor from God:
Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed; He wept and sought favor from Him.
He found Him in Bethel, and there He spoke to us (Hosea 12:4).
Moses Pleaded for favor of God:
Then Moses pleaded with ]the Lord his God, and said: “Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? (Exodus 32:11).
“But now entreat God’s favor, That He may be gracious to us. While this is being done by your hands, Will He accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts (Malachi 1:9).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favor on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healing, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
