Explanation:
Guess what? It has been another fantastic month. If you have been following us, you would realise how much has been have covered in the month of August. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s Grace and Mercy. In today, day 31 days of our Daily Meditation, on the series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore episode in wrath remember mercy. This is important for the Fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom.
This is a very crucial to avert the rath and judgement of God in the mist of sinful lifestyles, iniquity, transgression, or disobedience either by individual or nation.
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the dual attributes of mercy and truth:
A case of Lo-Ruhamah: God’s anger arose against Israel and God said He would not have mercy on the House of Israel. And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him: “Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, But I will utterly take them away (Hosea 1:6).
This is a kind of situation when the wrath of God emanated that prompted the Prayer of Prophet Habakkuk to plead for the Mercy of the Lord to prevail and that God to revive His people. O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy (Habakkuk 3:2).
What is the conclusion about mercy and truth?
Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (Proverbs 3:3).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His mercy on you. Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation (Psalm 85:7). He can deliver you from every issue of life where there seems no solution. Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore (Psalm 18:50).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of September 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The favour of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
