Your Devotional message for 11th August 2021

Scripture:
But also, for us, it shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead,  who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification (Romans 4:24-25).
Explanation:
In today, day 11 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation, on this series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore the grace of God for deliverance. The purpose of this series is ushering us to a deeper study on the knowledge of God regarding Grace and Mercy. We will examine the Grace for deliverance. Arise, O Lord, confront him, cast him down;
Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword (Psalms 17:13). Deliverance is not only about casting out demons but inclusive of His healing, victory over evils and wickedness, protection, guidance, leading to the right path. I pray that the Grace and Mercy of God will be multiplied to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Here are a few of the scriptures expounding on the grace of God for deliverance.
So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 5:21).
Justification in life by His grace: Through Adamic sins, judgement came to men, in contrary the righteous act of Jesus Christ justification in life came.
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:18).
The scripture shows different spiritual descriptions of sickness and diseases in a form of curse, affliction, oppression, bondage, and the works of the devil l. However, Jesus Christ came to destroy devil’s works. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood
The devil’s agenda on men rests on to his three-fold ministry – to steal, to kill and to destroy. The strategy of the devil is to make you believe that it is all in your mind and he does not exist. However, the scripture has clearly revealed that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole amour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6: 12-13). These are hierarchy of demonic spirits that controls men’s life, territorial and even rampaging effects on nation.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2)
The psalmist (David) said deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog (Psalm 22:20). Here demonic spirit like the witchcraft is called dog. Arise, O Lord, confront him, cast him down; Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword(Psalm 17:13, NKJV).
The weapons of our warfare
The scripture says that “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16). God has many weapons and Armory to fight the spiritual enemies such the Blood of Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Fire of the Holy Ghost, the sword of the Spirit and many. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:3-6, NKJV).
Casting out the demons is real using the Name of Jesus Christ
Casting out the demons is real using the Name of Jesus Christ. The demons are fallen angels cohabiting the spirit of many in the society today and made them agents of darkness.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We submit to God. We use the Word of God, with different prayers and fasting to resist the devil and demonic spirits. You must learn to take Authority delegated to His disciples by Jesus Christ over the demonic spirits behind any issue even when it seems that you cannot see the demon but only its manifestation. You must cast him out with the Strong power of God that is greater than the demonic one.
You ought to know that whatever situation you are faced, it may look so terrible. Do not loose heart. For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19, NKJV). Today, if you can repent from any known sins, hand it over to God. Submit to God. Learn how to resist the devil. Exercise your faith holding on the Word of God through meditation on the Word that the challenge can be faced out by God. I pray for your deliverance in the name of Jesus. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11, NKJV).
Finally, you must grow in the grace by the Word of God:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Then you need the grace of God as a gift of His divine ability to work things out for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of August 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The Grace and Mercy of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17).
