The Power of salvation
The Power of salvation

Your Devotional message for 23th June 2021

Scripture:
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved (Acts 2:21).
Explanation:
This is day 23 of 30 days of the Great Power of God program. Today in our Daily Meditation, we will explore one of the dimensions of the operation of the Great Power of God which is the power of salvation. Following the fall of Adam, fall short of the glory of God and the sinful nature prevails before Christ. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
The fall of Adam brought curse of toiling death to mankind (Genesis 3). Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come (Romans 5:14). Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:18).
Thanks be to God for His Love. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus Christ came and gave His Life as a ransom and for the propitiation for sins. The crucifixion, the death, burial, and resurrection are all the Work of the Trinity: Jesus Christ said that “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance” (Matthew 9:13). The benefits of salvation include:
All His benefits in Psalm 103:1-5
Reconciliation with God (Romans 5:10)
Sanctification – Redemption from sins
Glorification: Joy as we rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2)
Justification by the blood (Romans 5:9)
Peace with God (Romans 5:1)
We have access by faith (Romans 5:2)
Abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness – Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life (Romans 5:17). The grace of God will make you to reign in life and that you might become rich.
The Gospel is the Power of God unto salvation. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and for the Greek (Romans 1:16). Have you received Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, I encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Say this:
I confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in My heart that God has raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Activate the Power in you. Decree a thing and it shall be established in the name of Jesus Christ. You must Key to these fundamental principles, study, and meditate upon the Word of God.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of June 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘Operating in the realm of God’s power.’
Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding at work in me. It is written “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in other areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers in all my ways. Prosperity and success are
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him (Matthew 3:16).
