The dead and Resurrection of Jesus Christ
The dead and Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Your Devotional message for 7th April 2021

Scripture:
Surely, He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, NKJV).

Explanation
Today is day 7 of our 30 days of health and healing challenge. You will gain the knowledge of the implications of the dead and Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Divine health and healing. I have understood these benefits over 11 years ago. One of the greatest events recorded in the human history is the dead, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Before Jesus Christ was borne His coming was prophesied in the Old Testament from Torah to prophetic books of the Bible. Jesus Christ had to be offered as sacrifice for sins of man, as atonement for sins could not be attained by the blood of Bull or goat. Jesus Christ became a Lamb that was typo of the Lamb used in the Old Testament. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”(1 Corinthians 1:30, NKJV).
Therefore, John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29, NKJV) even before His dead. The prophecy of Isaiah was an excellent description of how his crucifixion, dead, and burial provided offering for griefs, sorrows, transgressions and iniquities, our peace and health and healing. Surely, He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, NKJV). His blood shed on cross provided Redemption from sins and translation from darkness to Kingdom of Christ.
That same Power that raised Jesus from dead was the Power of resurrection and lives in you when you receive salvation. This Power can give life to your mortal bodies (spirit, soul, and body) (Romans 8:11, NKJV). As a resurrect of His ascension makes us to be raised with Christ and to sit at the right hand of God. He was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification (Romans 4:25, NKJV). The right hand is the place of Power. The interesting part of the rise from dead was that Jesus said that He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”(Mark 16:16-18, NKJV). Meditate upon these scriptures, confess them, and see your health and healing being transform and declare a perfect health and receive your healing. It is your in Jesus’s name.

Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.

Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.

Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8: 16-17, NKJV).

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:1-2, NKJV).
